Continuous research allowed Linea Zero to conceive a special material which has become the emblem of its smart design concept. Polilux™ is an eco-friendly technopolymer that combines aesthetics to other essential elements as efficiency, durability, functionality and respect for the environment. The company deemed it necessary to create a material that contains recycled elements, able to be cold cut in order to avoid CO2 emissions and assembled by hand without the aid of machinery. Furthermore, thanks to cutting optimization, the waste is reduced and recycled as well. At the end of its life cycle, Polilux™ can be reconverted and recycled, in strict compliance with the law and environmental sustainability.

This exclusive material is able to provide products with the same light diffusion as satin glass, while offering many other advantages: Linea Zero collections are, in fact, light, flexible, shatterproof, antistatic and extremely versatile.

And not just that. Thanks to its special composition, Polilux™ is nontoxic and weather resistant; it does not yellow over time and boasts excellent resistance to solvents and all home cleaning products.

A RAINBOW OF COLOURS

Linea Zero created a wide selection of colour gradations, ranging from coloured Polilux™ to the most advanced printing and painting techniques. These shades transform each lamp into a bright rainbow, able to create a unique and evocative atmosphere.

A SHIMMERING METAL

In the continuous research of ideal lighting solutions, Linea Zero developed a new finish which recalls the appearance of metal.

This particular version of Polilux™ gives the lamps a luxurious and pearlescent appearance, which gives life to very different effects. For instance, in the case of Folio, the softness and the sinuosity of the curves remind of a silk drape. On the other hand, the rigid and decisive folds in the texture of Prisma, lead back to a metal artifact.

Thanks to its composition, the metallic finish allows the passage of light through the lampshade, creating effects of great visual impact. At the same time, when the lamp is turned off, the material acquires the typical bright and seductive metallic reflections.

Silver, New Gold, Copper and Pink Metal are the new colours chosen to enhance this innovative material which, thanks to the light refraction, acquires charming reflections that exalt even more the sophisticated bright objects.
